Firebrand lawyer Miguna Miguna has come out to disclose plots that Uhuru Kenyatta will allegedly use to ensure Deputy President William Ruto is kicked out of office.
The Firearms scandal which is alleged to have been finalized at Deputy President William Ruto’s Annex office has attracted the attention of many Kenyans after more dramatic events followed the arrest and prosecution of his closest ally Rashid Echesa.
Through a tweet, Miguna claim Uhuru will arrest Ruto through an elaborate entrapment.
There have been allegations that the political relationship between president Uhuru Kenyatta and his Deputy William Ruto has turned sour as 2022 succession politics continues to take over the ruling Jubilee party.
This has led to rivalry and public exchange of bitter words between politicians allied to Uhuru and Raila. This has further been worsened by the ongoing BBI politics where Ruto has been accused of being against the report which is aimed at fostering unity and bringing to an post election misunderstandings.
Miguna further claims that Uhuru will orchestrate an impeachment and a choreographed removal of William Ruto as the Deputy President of Kenya.
On Saturday, ODM leaders hinted at sponsoring an impeachment motion against Deputy President William Ruto over investigations into a fake Sh40 billion arms deal and a policeman’s murder
They said the incidents, which have seen the Directorate of Criminal Investigations (DCI) investigate people including former Sports minister Rashid Echesa, have brought the DP’s office into disrepute.
Siaya Senator James Orengo said ODM, politician Raila Odinga’s party, will consider constitutional means in dealing with the DP.
“In two weeks we will start the process that will see us deal with him,” he said in Siaya at the funerals of University of Nairobi’s Prof Gilbert Ogutu and politician Omolo Rading’s son.
The ODM brigade also piled pressure on the DP, saying he should reveal what he knows about Sergeant Kipyegon Kenei.
In a previous tweet Miguna came to the defense of Rashid Echesa saying he committed no crime,
“Echesa committed no crime. Having meetings with foreigners even in Despot Uhuru Kenyatta’s or Ruto’s offices are not crimes. If Echesa committed forgery, it has nothing to do with the place of meetings or whose office the meetings took place. Uhuru is desperate to fix Ruto,” reads Miguna Miguna’s tweet
Miguna said the firearms scandal is linked Ruto’s office as part of his efforts to politically fix the self proclaimed hustler.
According to the Canada based lawyer, Uhuru’s plans to destroy Ruto’s public reputation failed because the slain AP officer advised him to stay away from the office on the day of Echesa’s visit.
Because the plan was foiled by Kipyegon Kenei who warned @WilliamsRuto to keep away from the office. Why was Kenei to be “QUESTIONED” by @DCI_Kenya and not the people who issued the Polish crooks visas and gave them VIP escorts to Government offices?” Miguna claimed in another tweet.
The scandal was further complicated by the brutal murder of sergeant Kipyegon Kenei who was in charge of security in Ruto’s office on the day Echesa and his guests visited the Harambee house offices.
Miguna further claimed that the deep state will Kill DP Ruto in a helicopter or plane crash; or using CYANIDE poisoning like Saitoti, Mutula and Thuo.
Lawyer Miguna Miguna on his Facebook post warned the embattled DP William Ruto to avoid helicopters, eating or drinking juice and water anyhow.
The move comes few hours after the DP, in an emotional speech in Nakuru County, hinted on a plot to scuttle his presidential ambitions.
