REVEALED :List of Special Elite squad to finish DP Ruto Politically formed

0 1,254

A special squad to formulate strategies to politically cripple deputy president William Ruto’s presidential ambitions all the way to the 2022 general election has been formed. It is not only Ruto targeted but even his close political allies, according to sources privy to Weekly Citizen .

The squad that comprises seasoned administrators, security agency strategists, National Intelligence Service agents, scholars and political strategists has been allocated a secret office in Nairobi for coordinating its activities.

According to Weekly Citizen, the squad has a fully state-sponsored propaganda and disinformation wing, media wing, intelligence gathering and research units and reports its activities to a senior official who briefs president Uhuru Kenyatta’s top strategists including his younger brother,Muhoho Kenyatta and adviser Nancy Gitau. Some of the president’s inner core keeping tabs on the squad includes Jubilee party vicechairman David Murathe, secretary general Raphael Tuju, State House Comptroller Kinuthia Mbugua, political analyst Mutahi Ngunyi and scholar Peter Kagwanja.

David Murathe

The squad is considered to be behind a 10point ‘Ruto Political Annihilation Agenda’ that the deep state has started implementing to neutralise the second in command ahead of the 2022 polls. The agenda includes ouster of Ruto’s allies in the senate and national assembly leadership, neutering the DP’s sources of finances by intimidating his backers and sacking parastatal bosses allied to him, overhauling the cabinet to kick out his allies, cajoling governors allied to him with threats of prosecution over graft, coercing office workers at DP’s Harambee Annex with threats of criminal prosecution, dismantling Ruto security network assembled after the 2013 and 2017 polls, dismantling Ruto’s political network across the country and the globe, painting the DP in the social and mainstream media as irredeemably corrupt and ensuring skewed coverage in the media in favour of the government while giving the DP negative coverage or total blackout.

Jubilee party SG Raphael Tuju

Already, some of the DP’s media gurus such as spokesman David Mugonyi have developed cold feet after word reached them that the state is investigating their source of money.

Mugonyi has acquired properties including a V8 vehicle. He first worked at then Kenya Times as an intern from the University of Nairobi before joining Daily Nation. This move has left the DP to rely on don’t cares such as former State House digital communication guru Dennis Itumbi.

However, in the recent past, the DP has been less aggressive in the social media platforms after most staffers at Harambee Annex caved in to State’s pressure to stop the offensive campaign they had launched to defend the second-in-command or else they be forced to account for large sums of money they pocketed as imprest.
The squad has also reached out to senior editors in print, electronic and digital platforms, some of whom are now swimming in big money, driving luxurious cars.

Kinuthia Mbugua

A top editor at Nation having been rewarded by a powerful limousine for reporting negatively on Ruto and Nairobi governor Mike Sonko Mbuvi.

The deputy president has also been edged out of Mediamaxx, where he had invested together with the Kenyatta family. The Radio Africa Group has also denied he bought shares. In contrast, his rivals – Uhuru and Gideon – control Mediamaxx and Standard Group respectfully.

Insiders revealed to Weekly Citizen that the special squad is behind the president’s aggressive takeover of the Jubilee party and the coup against Ruto in the senate leadership.

The president took control of Jubilee after kicking out party officials affiliated to Ruto and replacing them with his allies despite objections from his second in command.

Before the ink could dry, Uhuru led Jubilee in hammering a coalition deal with Kanu headed by Gideon. Uhuru who was accompanied by Muhoho and Nancy Gitau met Gideon at State House where they ratified the coalition deal which was later deposited with the Registrar of Political Parties.

Mutahi Ngunyi

And now, the president on the advice of the squad, has kickstarted the removal of five nominated senators from the senate for snubbing the State House meeting. The nominated senators have already received letters to show cause why they should not be expelled from the party for embarrassing the party’s top echelons.

They are Millicent Omanga, Iman Dekow, Waqo Jillo, Prengei Victor and Mary Seneta. Next on the line are rebel MPs from the president’s stronghold whose process for a recall is being worked out. They include Gatundu South MP Moses Kuria, Bahati’s Kimani Ngunjiri, Kiharu’s Ndindi Nyoro, Kandara’s Alice Wahome, Mathira’s Rigathi Gachagua and Kikuyu’s Kimani Ichung’wa. Insiders say the special squad propaganda wing has launched an aggressive campaign against the deputy president in the mainstream and social media platforms.

Weekly Citizen also revealed that it has in possession of well researched articles and clips shared on popular WhatsApp groups that are meant to discredit the DP by highlighting his sins of omission and commission. The other plot is to cut DP influence in parliament and cabinet.

Peter Kagwanja

Ruto cabinet friends, Farida Karoney (Lands), Simon Chelugui (Labour) and Adan Mohammed (East African Community) have already been sidelined only warming seats in offices.

Senate Speaker Ken Lusaka and national assembly majority leader Aden Duale reading political signs are changing course. Word has it that Duale father in-law former Chiefof-Staff Mohammed Mohammed has intervened on his behalf in the corridors of power.

Majority chief whip Benjamin Washiali and his deputy Cecilly Mbarire are marked faces together with MPs sitting on parliamentary committees allied to Ruto. In Central, plan to collect signatures from voters to recall MPs openly attacking Uhuru in public is being hatched. The MPs are Moses Kuria, Gachagua, Wahome, Ichung’wa, Kimani Ngunjiri. Ndindi Nyoro, John Kiyua, Wangui Ngirici, Faith Gitau, John Kiaire, Benjamin Mwangi, George Theuri, Isaac Ndirangu, Mercy Wanjiku, Njagua Kanyi among others are on.

A move to sponsor their rivals ahead of 2022 is also being implemented including appointing them on state run agencies boards, Also targeted are Ruto point men in various counties including Kisii deputy governor Joash Maangi.
