Details have leaked of a secret deal between Kikuyu elders, former Prime Minister Raila Odinga and former Vice President Kalonzo Musyoka ahead of the meeting on revenue sharing which is slated today on Tuesday 28th in the Senate.

According to a report by the Star, it has been established that Orange Democratic Movement Party leader Raila Odinga and Wiper Party Leader Kalonzo Musyoka have admitted to support President Uhuru Kenyatta in the proposed Revenue Sharing Formula for the counties which has received a major boost from Mt Kenya region which is Uhuru’s bacyard.

It has been affirmed that the Kikuyu Council of Elders led by their secretary-general Peter Munga had sent a warning to the Minority leadership informing them of what would happen failure to support President Uhuru Kenyatta in the implementation of the proposed revenue sharing Formula as endorsed by Murang’a Senator Irungu Kang’ata.

The Kikuyu Council of Elders had sent a warning to the Minority leadership both former Prime Minister Raila Odinga and Wiper Party leader Kalonzo Musyoka informing that as the Kikuyu elders they will be watching closely on the Senate proceedings as they discuss the new formula proposed for the allocation of revenue to worsened units.

Munga who spoke on behalf of the Kikuyu Community informed that any leader from the minority side who fail to support the proposed revenue sharing formula endorsed by President Uhuru Kenyatta then they “has no moral right to come to Kikuyus to ask for anything” informing them that “they should forget getting the support of Central Kenya come 2022 elections.”

“All we need is equitable sharing of national resources. Anybody who does not stand with us in sharing the national cake based on the population has no moral right to come to Kikuyus to ask for anything,” declared KCE secretary-general Peter Munga.
