Former prime minister, Raila Odinga, on Saturday toured the Rift Valley region where he attended a celebration event of KNUT secretary general daughter who got admitted to the bar after completion of her law degree.
The KNUT secretary general, Wilson Sossion, is also an ODM nominated member of parliament which is led by Odinga.
“We recognize education as a key enabler of economic development. Towards this end, I joined the family of KNUT Secretary General Hon. Wilson Sossion to celebrate their daughter Rosemary’s admission to the Bar.” Odinga confirmed his attendance via his Facebook page.
In this ceremony, Odinga went on to quash the deputy president, William Ruto, over what he said leading a campaign of dynasties versus hustlers. Odinga said that this narrative is naive and misplaced claiming that even other former presidents were hustlers and this would not be the first time.
However, it’s reported that the ceremony did not end well as planned after a heavy downpour occured and paralyzed the whole occasion.
This event has left Kenyans talking some saying that these were God powers to stop Odinga from attacking the deputy president in his own region.
