Outspoken Elgeyo-Marakwet Senator Kipchumba Murkomen has opened up on the issue at hand that is throwing members of parliament into worries, amid speculations looming around to dissolve the he Parliament after failing on the 2/3 gender rule.
On Monday,Chief Justice David Maraga’s advise to President Uhuru Kenyatta to dissolve the Parliament.
Through his Twitter social media handle, the former Senate Majority leader said, while replying to Prof Tom Ojienda who asserted that it is time for massive constitutional petition from high profile lawyers, to defend dissolving of the Parliament.
“Parliament will not be dissolved. Time for a massive Constitutional Petition. @ahmednasirlaw @DonaldBKipkorir @WMutunga @omwanza @kipmurkomen,” he penned on Twitter.

Murkomen made a quick response, alleging that the Parliament will not be dissolved because Jubilee Secretary-general Raphael Tuju and Vice Chairman Mr David Murathe are not ready to receive a hundred of divorce papers from members.
“I know it won’t be dissolved. The main reason is because Tuju and Murathe are not ready to receive hundreds of divorce papers,” Murkomen penned on Twitter.
