Tanzanian 5th President Samia Suluhu has jetted in Kenya for an official state business trip. The Tanzanian President who ascended into power after the demise of President Pombe Magufuli arrived in the country on Tuesday, May 4, 2021.
President Suluhu was ushered into the country at the JKIA by the Cabinet Secretary for foreign, Ambassador Raychelle Omamo among other dignitaries.
The Tanzania leader arrived aboard the Tanzanian Air force presidential Jet accompanied by her aides and other leaders.
Suluhu is expected to meet President Uhuru at state house later on the day for lunch and other official business. She is expected to be in the country for two days.
Kenyans were quick to judge and give opinion after the first Tanzanian Lady president arrived in the country. Many reacted to her style while other concentrated on the tight security accompanying her.
The bodyguard’s photo standing next to the President showed her right hand closing on a fist showing her readiness in any circumstances. The bodyguard remained in that position until the meeting ended.
