‘You are not the only one, even i can be the president’, mutahi Kagwe delivers bad news to dp Ruto
Ministry of Health Cabinet Secretary Mutahi Kagwe has delivered bad news to Deputy President William Ruto issuing fresh details about his 2022 political stand.
According to Mutahi Kagwe, he has rubbished claims that he will be vying for Nyeri’s gubernatorial seat come the year 2022 explaining that he is targetting a higher seat.
The Ministry of Health CS has made it clear that he will run for the Presidency stating that he believes he has the qualifications to run the highest office on the land.
Mutahi Kagwe has however said that currently, he doesn’t want to engage in early politicking informing on the need to first focus on the Building Bridges Initiative.
“Ignore the rumors that I will be vying for Nyeri governor. I’m past that. I’m targeting that other seat that is ahead of the governor. I believe I have all the qualifications to run the highest office on the land. But anyway, let’s first pass the BBI and I will come here to make a formal declaration,” CS Mutahi Kagwe said.
Weighing into the decision of the Senate and the National Assembly to pass the BBI, CS Mutahi Kagwe has informed DP Ruto that he should learn that Mt Kenya people are always typical when it comes to making decisions explaining that the region speaks as one voice when it matters.
“Did you say the BBI would fail because you were in a church where you gave KSh 2 billion? I have a lot of political experience and I will tell you this…Mt Kenya region speaks as one voice when it matters.” he added.
