New Rift Valley Party Giving UDA Sleepless Nights Gets Certificate
The new Rift Valley party giving UDA leaders sleepless nights has finally been formally registered. The party leader Damaris Too was handed over the registration certificate today at the office of the registrar of political parties.
The new party in Rift Valley puts William Ruto’s UDA in dilemma. Many political aspirants from the Rift valley have embraced the new party as revealed by Damaris.
The Chama ya Mapatano Kenya will be officially launched on the 10th of June at a venue to be released soon. The party leader while receiving the certificate revealed that mass registration will soon follow after the launch.
She asked all Kenyans with similar ideas of all coming together to join her in the new party. She added that she is not out to compete with UDA as she respects the party asking Kenyans to exercise democracy.
“God says come all let us reason together, today I received our party certificate and I want to encourage all Kenyans to embrace the party. Togetherness will take us far. Chama ya Mapatano has space for everyone. We shall be launching the party officially on 10th June,” she said.
Too was a KANU gold member and when she resigned a few months ago, UDA members ran to her convincing her to join their party. Too was to pursue her own life in politics. She believes in women’s leadership.
