A boy from Kakamega kills his friend over Ugali and Kunde

A boy is being held by the police after he allegedly killed his schoolmate over an ugali and Kunde in Kakamega County.

The 14-year-old boy after killing his schoolmate went ahead and dumped the deceased body to the nearby River Simakina in Navakholo, Kakamega County.

According to Richard Omanga OCPD Navakholo area who confirmed the incident, saying that the 10-year-old boy was stocking his family cattle when he was attacked by his schoolmate.

Reports reveal that the class six boy arrived home from school and was informed that the food that he was supposed to eat had been eaten by the classmate.

He then followed the boy to where he was and hit him in the head with a blunt object killing him on the spot before dumping his body into the river.

On Friday morning upon arriving at school, he informed his class teacher that he had killed his classmate.

The school authorities informed the police and the suspect directed them to where he dumped the body, where they found the deceased’s lifeless body lying in the water with serious injuries.

The body was taken to Kakamega Referral and Hospital mortuary as investigations into the case continue.
