Mutua who had earlier promised Kenyans the start of a fresh movement with jobs, economic freedom, and unity has today promised to assist newlyweds to kick start marriage life if he clinches the country’s top seat.

The governor who is serving his second term says if elected president, he will lend new couples an amount ranging between Ksh500,000 to Ksh1million payable in 20 years at 0.5 per cent interest.

“All Newly weds will receive Ksh500,000 to Ksh1 million in kind from my government, payable in 20 years, to start life,” he stated.

Mutua stated that his move was prompted by youths who break banks for wedding ceremony and end up in debt after the event noting that the various administrations had neglected that aspect.

“All youth who turn 17, will have their Identity card, PIN, Passport, NHIF, and NSSF lodged and processed which they will receive within a month of their 18th birthday,” Mutua stated.
