Konshens calls Kenya his motherland as he boards a flight from US to Nairobi for a concert

Jamaican dancehall sensation Konshens arrived in Kenya on Monday night, ahead of his much anticipated Nairobi concert.

Konshens who enjoys a huge fanbase in the country is expected to bring the heat to the Carnivore Restaurant for the on the 31st.

The musician shared a photo shortly after hopping onto a Kenya-bound flight from the John F. Kennedy Airport on Monday, December 27, captioning it: “To the motherland”

He would follow it up with an Instagram story in which he cradled a glass of champagne, captioning it: “To Nairobi with love”

His arrival in the country comes hot in the wake of debate around the state of the Kenyan music industry, a conversation that he was dragged to by comedian Eric Omondi.
