Wetangula Mistakenly Urges Residents To Vote For Azimio La Umoja Instead Of Kenya Kwanza~Crowd Bursts into Laughter

Kenya Kwanza Alliance rally in Nakuru County on Friday, February 11, was marred with confusion after Bungoma Senator Moses Wetangula mistakenly campaigned for Azimio la Umoja.

Wetangula, who was in the company of Deputy President Willian Ruto and Amani National Congress (ANC) leader Musalia Mudavadi immediately realised that he had blundered and rectified his mistake.

“We have come here with William Ruto together with Musalia Mudavadi and Rigathi Gachagua to ask you one thing, that you vote for azimi…,” he stated.

“Support our group Kenya Kwanza because it is the group that cares about the issues affecting Kenyans,” he stated.

After the blunder, Wetangula continued with his address even as he called for the  National Cohesion and Integration Commission (NCIC) to interrogate Muranga Women Representative Sabina Chege over sentiments she made at a rally in Luanda, Vihiga County.

Consequently, after the rally, a video of the incident made rounds on social media with various online users commenting on Wetangula’s slip of the tongue.
