Nyeri County Govt Announces 230 Vacancies: How to Apply

The County Government of Nyeri has announced over 230 vacant positions from ten departments targeting all Kenyans.
In a notice published on Monday, April 11, the County Government is seeking to fill the positions in 39 categories ranging from the Department of health which has 143 positions to the Department of Gender, Youth and Social Services which has only one vacancy.
The county government also seeks to hire 55 individuals as Registered Nurse III and 27 ECDE caregivers, which are the departments with the highest number of openings.
Others are Media Laboratory Technologist III at 23 positions, Registered Clinical Officer III at 18 posts and Assistant Public Health Officer III at 15 posts.
How to Apply
Each job position has its own unique set of requirements with some cutting across departments.
For Instance, all applicants are expected to possess proper interpersonal skills as well as a National Identification card showing that they are Kenyan Citizens.
Some positions also demand that holders must have a valid Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education (KCSE) as well as a certificate from a tertiary institution.
To apply, interested qualified candidates are required to visit the county’s website at https://www.nyeri.go.ke/ to download the employment form.
The applicants should then fill it out properly and attach copies of their academic certificates as well as supporting documents. The cover letter should be addressed to the secretary of the Nyeri County Public Service Board offices.
All applications (hand-delivered or through the post office) should be received on or before April 25, 2022 at 5:00 p.m.
