Please forgive me, DP Ruto asks President Uhuru Kenyatta at prayer meeting

Deputy President William Ruto has asked President Uhuru Kenyatta for forgiveness as they have not been on good terms for the longest time.
Ruto has asked for forgiveness for falling short of his expectations.
Speaking during the National Prayer Breakfast at Safari Park, Nairobi, Ruto said he also forgives the president as they are all humans.
Ruto also broke protocol at the National prayer breakfast meeting after he invited Azimio presidential running mate Martha Karua to address those in attendance.
The DP who was making his address asked Karua to speak on behalf of Azimio la Umoja One Kenya Alliance presidential candidate Raila Odinga who was not present.
“Before I conclude my remarks, in the absence of my brother Raila Odinga, who is my main competitor in this election, I’m going to ask my sister Martha Karua… Allow me to break protocol so that she can come and make some few remarks,” Ruto said.
After Karua concluded her remarks, the Deputy President apologised for breaking protocol.
He also apologised for ambushing the Azimio la Umoja deputy presidential candidate saying that she presented herself well.
“Thank you Martha even if I ambushed you. You have given a good account of yourself and sorry the people of protocol if I have messed up in any way. I’m sorry.”
Karua in her address called on the leaders present to put into all the messages of peace they have talked about at the meeting.
She added that she would like to see Kenya have a peaceful election process this coming August.
“Prayers without action is not real. How I pray that our prayers are matched by our actions. If we do that we’ll definitely have peaceful elections, a peaceful transition and a nation that stands together. God bless Kenya and thank you William for inviting me,” Karua stated.
