Roots Party presidential candidate Prof. George Wajackoyah has now shifted his focus to Deputy President William Ruto’s candidacy in the August polls urging him to retire with his boss President Uhuru Kenyatta.

Wajackoyah was reacting to remarks by former Nairobi County Assembly Speaker Beatrice Elachi who, in an interview on NTV Thursday morning, said the two both need to be sent packing.

He chided the DP for blaming failures of the government which he is a part of on the handshake between President Kenyatta and Azimio la Umoja One Kenya presidential flag bearer Raila Odinga.

“President Uhuru and DP Ruto should go home so that we take the country back to 2002. – Beatrice Elachi.
