Ruto Officially Appoints Shadrack Mose as New Solicitor General

President William Ruto on Wednesday, March 15 officially appointed Shadrack John Mose as Kenya’s new Solicitor General after he sailed through Parliament.
The announcement was made through a special Gazette notice issued by State House Spokesperson Hussein Mohamed.
“In exercise of the powers conferred by section 9 (1) of the Office of the Attorney-General Act, 2012, I, William Samoei Ruto, President and Commander-in-Chief of the Kenya Defence Forces, appoint Shadrack John Mose to be the Solicitor-General of the Republic of Kenya,” read part of the statement.
Mose now replaces Kennedy Ogeto, who is also an advocate of the High Court of Kenya for over 26 years.
