Video:Drama in court as Raila’s diehard supporter Disrupts Proceedings to Identify Officer Who Allegedly Tortured Him
ODM leader Raila Odinga supporter Calvin Okoth alia Gaucho has been released on a cash bail of KSh 100,000 after he was charged with subversive activities.
Milimani Chief Lucas Onyina dismissed the application by the prosecution to keep holding Gaucho for more days.
After the magistrate’s ruling, the self-styled ghetto president’s legal filed an application alleging torture of their client by the police.
The defence counsel alleged that Gaucho had visible facial injuries that he did not have yesterday when he was presented to the court.
The prosecution agreed that the matters would be investigated and that Gaucho could record a statement about his torture.
However, there was drama when the outspoken Bunge la Wananchi president interrupted the court proceedings to point out a police officer who he said was the mastermind of his torture.
“Huyo jamaa ndiye alikuja na watu wakanipiga. Huyu Kiprop. Yeye ndiye long slap ya kwanza,” an agitated Gaucho said.
