Bongo Hitmaker Harmonize to perform in Eldoret at Chaget Festival

Bongo Flava Hitmaker artist Rajab Abdul Kahali aka Harmonize has promised to put up an electrifying show in Eldoret Town on Saturday, October 3.

On Tuesday, October 30, Harmonize confirmed that he will perform at the Eldoret Sports Club Grounds where he will be the main act during the inaugural Chaget Festival.

In a video posted on his Instagram account, Harmonize confirmed he would attend the event.

The Happy Birthday hitmaker asked his fans to turn up in large numbers at the event.

“I want to tell my Kenyan fans that I will be performing at the Eldoret Sports Club Grounds on Saturday November 3, 2018 and I am asking them to come out in large numbers since I will be bringing the house down with a thrilling performance,” said Harmonize who is also popularly known as Konde Boy.

According to the event organiser, Omondi Wa Mercedes, of Shado Events Initiative, Chaget Festival is a creation from Kenyans to celebrate the Kalenjin culture of wearing the charateristic brown jacket.

“It is believed that every Kalenjin has a chaget (jacket) in their wardrobe. The event targets to create a platform to highlight key issues on empowerment and investment for both youths and the public as a whole. Let us celebrate culture, empower the community and have fun in style,” said Omondi.

According to Fly Tristar Head of Marketing Donald Kigali, Harmonize will fly with the airline to Eldoret from Nairobi.

“For the lovers of bongo music, Harmonize and Kwangaru hit, fly with us on Friday for a photo opportunity and the chance to watch him live in Eldoret at the Eldoret Sports Club,” said Kigali.

Among local artists set to perform at the event include Sweet Star, Kapkoma Lady and Olessos Melodies among others.

Gates open at Saturday 6pm with advance tickets costing KSh 500 while VIP go for KSh 2,000.

Harmonize who started his music career in 2011 has previously performed in Nairobi and Mombasa.

His first recordings did not hit. In 2015, he met Diamond Platnumz who signed him under the WCB Wasafi.

His first song, Aiyola, was commercially successful. He won three awards from WatsUp Tv, AFRIMMA and AEA USA.
